The Story of Chorlton Art Market
In June 2013, Alice and Jay opened up a 3 week pop-up shop in Chorlton precinct. The Chorlton Design Emporium was a fantastic success, which lead to the founding of Chorlton Art Market in November 2014. Art Hive Ltd saved the shop from closing in November 2017 and continue to house the work of over 50 local artists and craftspeople, as well as vintage clothes traders in our Chorlton Vintage Boutique section. We take great pride in growing our range of wonderful creations so you can find a treat to inspire you for every occasion. Gifting sorted!
Selling your work at the shop
We rent space to local artists and crafters, creating the wonderfully diverse gallery space which has made us a popular shopping destination for 8 years. If you have an established brand, or maybe you're just starting out, we'd love to hear from you. An active social media presence is a must, so go to our contact page and send us a link to your work. Space is very limited and the waiting list can be long, but if your products or style are suitable for the shop we might be able to offer you one of our three trader schemes. Good luck!
